We were anxious to see Florence and knew because we were on a shore excursion from a sail ship it would be hard to see most of the web sites and museums we were enthusiastic about seeing. Before we remaining for our holiday and the sail we looked over the shore trips which were available from the sail ship and didn't see any that people were involved in.

We thought we would choose the transfer coach which took people in to the center of Florence. From there we had mapped out what we desired to see and getting there.
